I’m a compassionate, driven support coordination team leader with over ten years of experience in the NDIS sector. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to advocating for people with all types of disabilities — ensuring they are heard, respected, and supported to live with dignity, choice, and independence.

My approach is shaped by my own journey through generational trauma and the healing that comes from breaking cycles, rebuilding identity, and finding strength in vulnerability. This lived experience gives me a unique lens: I understand how complex life can be, how deeply people can carry their past, and how powerful the right support can be in creating a different future. It’s why I show up with empathy, honesty, and a genuine belief in every person’s potential.

I hold a Diploma in Mental Health, a Certificate IV in Disability, and bring extensive management experience that allows me to lead with clarity, compassion, and purpose. Over the past decade, I’ve supported individuals with diverse and complex needs, always advocating fiercely for their rights, their wellbeing, and their voice within the NDIS.

People matter to me — their mental health, their stories, their safety, and their ability to access the supports they deserve. I’m passionate about challenging stigma, breaking down barriers, and ensuring that every person, regardless of disability or background, feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Outside of work, I’m grounded by the things that keep me connected to who I am: my family, my husband, my veggie garden, and quiet days spent fishing. These simple joys remind me of the importance of balance, healing, and community.

At my core, I believe in showing up for others — not just as a professional, but as a human being who understands the weight of lived experience and the power of genuine support. This isn’t just my career; it’s the purpose I’ve grown into.

I’m a Support Coordinator at Trucare, where I manage and coordinate services to ensure participants receive the support they need to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.

With years of experience in disability support, my background is enriched by personal experience, giving me a unique perspective and empathy in my role. I combine both professional training and personal insights to effectively support and advocate for our participants.

I am passionate about advocating for inclusivity and providing person-centred care. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing participants grow, succeed, and thrive in their communities.

Outside of work, I’m bubbly and love socialising with friends and family, bringing an energetic and positive spirit to both my personal and professional life.

Kerry

Over three years of experience in the disability sector, I hold a dual role at Trucare as a Support Coordinator and Direct Support Worker. My passion for supporting individuals with disabilities drives me to enhance their quality of life through personalised care and advocacy.

I’m also in my third year of pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology, focusing on human behaviour and mental health, with a special interest in psychosocial disabilities. This academic foundation complements my hands-on experience, enriching my ability to provide effective support.

At Trucare, I find immense fulfilment in building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them navigate challenges. The collaborative, person-centred environment fosters a strong sense of community, allowing participants to achieve their goals. Seeing individuals reach personal milestones is incredibly rewarding and reinforces my dedication to this field.

I chose this career because I believe in the potential of every individual. I’m motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those facing unique challenges, advocating for inclusion and empowerment.
